Virtual landscapes

virtuallandscapeVirtual landscapes are an ideal tool to show the impact of landscape development, civil engineering and urban planning. A virtual landscape helps you to create a realistic representation of a rural or an entire city area. Its strength is that you can look at them interactively and immediately can see the spatial context and detect changes when comparing to the current situation. In this way, any interested party can get a good picture of his specific situation: an ideal tool during public consultation meetings.

Animations

animatiefilmAn animation makes it possible to tell the story of a project in a clear en visually attractive way. Film images, sound and computer animations are combined in order to achieve this. The virtual landscapes of GeoID are an important source of content for the computer animations and that’s why we only focus on those films that contain a spatial dimension. Our animations have already proven their worth for example in the communication support of major road works and in tourism marketing.

Virtual images

virtualimageThe highest degree of realism can be achieved by using our virtual images. They are a combination of existing photos and a computer model of a planned structure and together, they give an impression of the future situation. Virtual images can also be build entirely from a construction that has not yet been built. In this way, the impact of such a construction can be assessed. The virtual image then can immediately be compared to the picture of the existing situation.
